We can help save you money on your facility upgrade efforts. By applying the insights from years as an experienced field engineer and HVAC/DDC contractor we can save you time and money. Our projects help you save management time, staff labor bringing you energy savings, incentive cash and up to date systems. We can help you navigate the various utility or Energy Trust or department of energy processes as well as find for you other utility or government incentives. As your needs grow we can help you with troubleshooting investigations, analysis, planning/design execution, retro-commissioning and predictive/preventative maintenance all of which can be done quickly and easily with help from our team of experienced professionals. And don't forget the opportunity for real-time pricing and procurement with your local utility.

Any path will get you there if you don’t have a destination or goal in mind and a plan to get you there
I hired KFAA because I knew what I was going to get, solid professional results on time and within budget without alot of heavy guidance needed
— Tony Moiso, formerly, Kaiser Permanente Facility Director
Let us help you, we have the experience and know how to solve even your most complex building issues

KFAA Engineering started consulting with clients in 2005 as Karl Friesen and Associates, LLC and has passed the 5,500,000 sqft of buildings evaluated for energy savings or designed system upgrades. Working on energy efficiency upgrades, renewable energy projects like bio-mass to liquid/gaseous fuels and electricity started the team on this path which complimented the building automation, chiller and boiler plant as well as the energy efficiency and conservation efforts which had been our strengths for the prior two decades. This includes the Kaiser Facilities mentioned above.
